Château Cartier

Few courses in Canada sit quite so close to the machinery of national power — Château Cartier occupies the Quebec bank of the Ottawa River, directly across from the capital, with Parliament Hill visible on clear days. The resort property takes its name from its historic manor hotel, and the golf course reflects that sense of occasion: this is a destination where the setting does a great deal of the work, with the Gatineau Hills rising behind the property and the river corridor shaping the broader landscape.
