Talofofo sits on Guam's southeastern coast, a village more known for its waterfall, its bay, and the jungle-covered hills rolling down toward the Philippine Sea than for championship golf. But this corner of the island offers something rare: a landscape dramatic enough to make a round feel genuinely removed from the resort corridors and military installations that define so much of Guam's developed land.
Onward Talofofo Golf Resort is part of the broader Onward hospitality group that has long catered to the waves of Japanese leisure travelers who have made Guam a short-haul destination since the 1970s and 80s. The resort experience here is oriented toward that visitor — expect full facilities, a relaxed pace, and scenery that does a lot of the work a course architect might otherwise labor over. Tropical vegetation, ocean glimpses, and the humidity that comes with a true Pacific island setting are the backdrop for all 18 holes.
