Oroville sits right on the Canadian border in the Okanogan Highlands, where the Similkameen River meets the southern end of Osoyoos Lake — a landscape of sagebrush benchland, ponderosa pine, and broad river valleys that feels genuinely remote. The town is a quiet agricultural and ranching community, and the golf club carries that same unpretentious, small-town character. This is northcentral Washington at its most unhurried.
As a rural 18-hole layout in a community this size, Oroville Golf Club almost certainly functions as the social and recreational anchor of local golf life — the kind of course where members know each other by name and visitors are welcomed without pretense.
