Broa Golf Club

Broa Golf Club sits beside the Broa reservoir in Itirapina, one of the quieter corners of São Paulo state's interior — a region of cerrado savanna, red laterite soil, and pine-dotted hillsides that gives the course a distinctly Brazilian character you won't find on the country's coastal layouts. The reservoir itself, formed by the damming of the Lobo stream, is a recognized ecological reserve and a popular destination for windsurfers and cyclists, and the course draws on that same unhurried, outdoors-minded culture.

The club is a private facility serving members largely from the São Paulo metropolitan area, many of whom make the roughly 200-kilometer drive into the interior to escape the city.
