Skogaby Golfklubb

Skogaby Golfklubb sits in the Lagan River valley south of Laholm, a small historic town at the northern edge of Halland on Sweden's west coast. The club takes its name from the surrounding forest landscape — skog meaning forest in Swedish — and the course winds through mature woodland that gives it a genuinely secluded, sylvan feel quite distinct from the links-influenced tracks found closer to the Kattegat shoreline. Halland is one of Sweden's most golf-dense regions, and courses here tend to reward ball-striking over power, with tree corridors and varied terrain doing the work that bunkering might do elsewhere.
