Zdelete Gallagher'S Canyon (Pinnacle 06)

Gallagher's Canyon is one of Kelowna's most celebrated golf experiences, a Bill Robinson and Les Furber design that carved its fairways through the rugged ponderosa pine terrain of British Columbia's Okanagan Valley. The Pinnacle course — the newer of the 2 layouts on the property — plays across dramatic elevation changes and rocky canyon topography that makes the routing feel genuinely earned. It's the kind of course where the landscape does as much work as the architect.

The Okanagan is Canada's warmest wine region, a sun-drenched corridor of lakes, orchards, and golden hillsides that bears almost no resemblance to the rain-soaked image many outsiders carry of British Columbia. Golf here runs long into the season by Canadian standards, and the dry, firm conditions tend to reward bump-and-run thinking over aerial heroics.

Gallagher's Canyon has long held a strong reputation on the national stage, consistently appearing among the better public-access courses in western Canada. The Pinnacle layout, shorter and tighter than its companion Gallagher's Canyon course, demands accuracy and rewards course management over raw distance.
