Few Irish resort courses can claim a backdrop quite like this one. Tulfarris sits on the shores of Blessington Lakes — the vast reservoir system formed when the Liffey Valley was flooded in the 1940s — and water defines the property in a way that goes well beyond the decorative. The course occupies a wooded peninsula in County Wicklow, roughly 40 kilometres south of Dublin, where the Wicklow Mountains begin their rise and the light off the water shifts constantly through the day.
