Few Arizona courses carry a name with as much regional resonance as this one. The Superstition Mountains loom to the east of Mesa, their jagged volcanic silhouette defining the horizon for much of the round — a constant reminder that you're playing in one of the American Southwest's most dramatically shaped landscapes.
