Few public golf experiences in Alabama carry the same sense of escape as playing inside an actual state park. Oak Mountain State Park — the largest state park in Alabama, covering more than 9,000 acres of Shelby County hardwoods and ridgeline terrain — provides the backdrop here, and the course wears that setting honestly.
