The International

Opened in 1995 and designed by Donald Steel — one of Britain's most respected golf architects and a thoughtful steward of the links tradition — the course was conceived as a genuine championship test worthy of elite competition. Steel routed it across the reclaimed land west of Amsterdam with an eye toward strategic variety, using mounding, water, and native rough to impose real consequences on wayward shots despite the absence of dramatic natural elevation change.

The club has earned a strong reputation on the European circuit, having hosted events on the Challenge Tour and serving as one of the Netherlands' most respected parkland venues. Its conditioning and design ambition place it well above the average club experience.
