Đồng Nai Golf Resort sits in Trảng Bom district, roughly 50 kilometers northeast of Ho Chi Minh City along the corridor that connects Vietnam's commercial capital to the Central Highlands. The course occupies a landscape shaped by the region's red basalt soils and tropical forest remnants, with mature rubber and cashew trees framing many fairways — a visual signature that gives the layout a distinctive, almost orchard-like atmosphere uncommon in Vietnamese golf. The surrounding province is one of Vietnam's most industrially active, yet the course grounds maintain a green seclusion that feels removed from that pace.
The design works across gently rolling terrain, offering a more relaxed topography than the mountain courses further north while still presenting enough elevation change to add interest to approach shots and club selection. The tropical climate means lush, fast-growing turf for much of the year, though the dry season between November and April generally delivers the most reliable playing conditions.
For golfers based in Ho Chi Minh City, Đồng Nai represents one of the more accessible day-trip options — close enough for an early tee time without the congestion of courses immediately ringing the city, and set in a landscape that still carries the unhurried character of provincial southern Vietnam.
