Skeljavíkurvöllur

Hólmavík sits at the edge of Steingrímsfjörður, one of the quieter fjords cutting into the Westfjords peninsula — Iceland's most remote and dramatic region, where the landscape is less manicured wilderness than raw, unfinished geology. Getting here requires commitment: long drives on gravel roads, or a ferry crossing that itself feels like an event. Skeljavíkurvöllur is a short course by any measure, but length is almost beside the point in a place like this.
