Binowo Park Golf Club

Binowo Park Golf Club occupies a stretch of rolling, forested moraine landscape about 15 kilometres south of Szczecin, the historic port city that anchors Poland's far northwest corner. The course was designed by British architect Jeremy Pern and opened in the late 1990s, arriving during a pivotal period when golf was beginning to establish genuine roots in post-communist Poland. It has since grown into one of the most respected layouts in the country, regularly cited among Poland's top courses and serving as a benchmark for the sport's development in the region.

The terrain here does most of the design work — glacially sculpted ridges and mature pine and oak woodland create natural separation between holes and demand thoughtful shotmaking from all angles. Water features come into play on several holes, and the changes in elevation give the course a drama that rewards players who take the time to understand its contours rather than simply overpower it.

Szczecin's golf scene is modest in size but serious in temperament, and Binowo Park sits at its centre. The area's cool, Baltic-influenced climate means the season runs spring through autumn, with the course typically at its most visually compelling in the golden weeks of September and October.
