Golf Fleesenseen

Golf Fleesenseen sits within the Fleesensee resort complex — one of Germany's largest integrated golf and leisure destinations — on the shores of the Fleesensee lake in the Mecklenburger Seenplatte, the sprawling lake district that defines this corner of the former East Germany. The resort area gained serious attention after reunification as developers looked to capitalize on the region's undeveloped landscapes, and Golf Fleesenseen became a centerpiece of that transformation, eventually hosting European Tour events that announced the venue to an international audience.

The Mecklenburger Seenplatte is flat to gently rolling glacial terrain, and the course works with that natural topography — open fairways framed by birch and pine, punctuated by the lakes and water features that give the property its name. Wind off the water is a genuine factor here, making club selection more interesting than the terrain alone might suggest.

Göhren-Lebbin itself is a small village; the resort essentially is the community. Visitors come to play golf, use the spa, and absorb the quiet of a landscape that feels genuinely remote from Germany's urban centres despite being reachable from Berlin in around 2 hours.
