"Traverse Bay, CA" doesn't match any real location I can confidently place — California has no well-known Traverse Bay, and Grand Pines doesn't surface as a course I can reliably identify there. Rather than invent history, architecture, or hole descriptions that may be fiction, I want to flag this before writing something misleading.
A couple of possibilities worth checking:
- Did you mean **Traverse City, Michigan**? That region (Grand Traverse Bay area) has a rich golf scene, and there are courses with similar names in northern Michigan. - Or is the state abbreviation off — perhaps this is in another state?
If you can confirm or correct the location (and add any other details you have — architect, public/private, year opened), I'll write the best possible description. If the location is intentionally a bit obscure and you're okay with me writing honestly about the real surrounding region and landscape without inventing course-specific facts, just say so and I'll work with what I have.
