Club de Golf Estérel

The Laurentian Mountains have long been Quebec's playground, and the village of Estérel — a resort community on the shores of Lac Dupuis — sits near the heart of that tradition. Club de Golf Estérel occupies this lakeside terrain roughly 80 kilometres north of Montreal, where the Shield's ancient rock outcroppings, dense boreal forest, and the region's characteristic blend of elevation change and water give the layout a character that's distinctly tied to place. The Laurentians' short golf season runs hard from late spring through the brilliant colours of autumn, and courses here tend to reward shot-making over raw length.

Estérel has historically functioned as a resort course connected to the broader Estérel Resort property, serving visitors who come to this corner of the Laurentides for the full four-season experience — skiing, sailing, and, when the snow finally relents, golf.

The setting does a great deal of the design work: tree-lined corridors, irregular terrain, and the presence of water keep the round honest and the scenery consistently engaging for players of any level.
