Golf Costa Brava

Golf Costa Brava occupies a valley of cork oak and pine in the hills behind the Costa Brava coastline, a setting that gives the course a distinctly Mediterranean character far removed from the beach resorts a short drive away. The layout was founded in 1968 and designed by Folco Nardi, making it one of the older established clubs on the Catalan coast. Santa Cristina d'Aro sits in the Ridaura valley inland from Sant Feliu de Guíxols, a part of Girona province where the landscape shifts quickly from coastal cliffs and coves to wooded hills. The climate is generous across much of the year, which has made the Costa Brava one of Spain's more reliable golf destinations for visiting Europeans, particularly in spring and autumn when conditions are close to ideal.
