Few golf settings in the British Isles place you quite so directly in the shadow of the mountains as Fort William. The town sits at the foot of Ben Nevis — the highest peak in the United Kingdom — where Loch Linnhe meets the Great Glen, and the surrounding Highland landscape is as dramatic and unforgiving as any on the island.
