Few golf destinations in northern Mexico carry the understated prestige of Club Campestre Montebello. A private country club serving Torreón's established business and social elite, Montebello has long functioned as the city's primary gathering ground for serious golfers — the kind of members-only institution where generations of the same families have walked the same fairways and the competitive calendar is a genuine fixture of local social life.

Torreón sits in the Comarca Lagunera, a semi-arid basin straddling Coahuila and Durango where the climate runs hot and dry for much of the year.
