Tsumeb Golf Club sits in one of Namibia's most distinctive towns — a mining settlement in the far north of the country whose name is derived from a Khoekhoegowab phrase meaning "to dig in a mound of earth." That industrial heritage shaped the landscape here, and playing golf in Tsumeb means playing in a place where the land itself has a story of extraction and transformation beneath it. The Otavi Mountainland region offers a notably greener, more temperate environment than much of Namibia, and the course reflects that surprising lushness.
Golf in northern Namibia operates on its own terms.
