Royal Oaks Golf Club

Moncton's Royal Oaks Golf Club has built a strong reputation as one of Atlantic Canada's premier private layouts since opening in 1999. Designed by Graham Cooke, the course winds through mature hardwood forest on the city's north side, and the combination of elevation change, tight tree-lined corridors, and strategically contoured greens gives it a character that punishes wayward play while rewarding patience and shot-shaping. Cooke's work here is widely regarded as among his best in the Maritimes.

The club has hosted a number of high-profile provincial and regional amateur events, cementing its status as the benchmark course in greater Moncton. The parkland setting turns particularly striking in September and October, when the surrounding maple and birch canopy ignites — making autumn rounds as visually memorable as they are challenging.
