Few golf destinations in Arkansas carry the charm of Red Apple Inn & Golf Club, which has occupied its perch on the shores of Greers Ferry Lake since the early 1960s. The resort and its course grew up together, and the layout reflects that era's design sensibility — routing that works with the Ozark hill country rather than against it, using natural elevation changes and mature hardwoods to create a sense of separation and quiet that more manufactured courses rarely achieve.
Heber Springs sits at the edge of the Ozarks proper, and the surrounding landscape does real work here.
