Tewkesbury Park sits within a country house hotel estate on a hilltop above the ancient market town of Tewkesbury, where the Rivers Severn and Avon meet in the Gloucestershire lowlands. The elevated position gives the course something genuinely rare in this flat stretch of England — long views across the Vale of Evesham and, on clear days, toward the Welsh hills beyond the Malverns. That vantage point also means the layout works with real changes in gradient, offering a more varied and physical round than the surrounding countryside might suggest.
The course plays through mature parkland typical of an English hotel estate — established trees framing the holes, a measured and traditional feel rather than anything experimental.
