Waitematā Golf Club

Few golf clubs in New Zealand carry the historical weight of Waitematā. Founded in 1902, it is one of Auckland's oldest clubs, and its name — drawn from the Māori word for "sparkling waters," the same name given to the harbour that defines the city — immediately signals its connection to this place. The club has moved and evolved over its long life, eventually settling at its current home in Henderson, in Auckland's west, where it operates as a genuine community club serving a diverse and loyal membership.
