Golfclub Schloss Igling takes its name from the baroque Schloss Igling estate that anchors the property, giving the club an architectural backdrop that feels distinctly Bavarian — a setting where centuries-old landholding culture and the relatively modern game of golf have found an easy coexistence. The course sits in the Lechfeld region of western Bavaria, between Augsburg and the foothills of the Alps, in a landscape shaped by glacial outwash plains, scattered woodland, and the broad arc of the Lech river valley.
