Rockway Municipal Golf Course

Few municipal courses in southwestern Ontario carry the history that Rockway does. Opened in 1931 and designed by Stanley Thompson — Canada's most celebrated golf architect, whose portfolio includes Banff Springs and Jasper Park Lodge — Rockway represents a rare opportunity to play a genuine Thompson layout at everyday public prices. The course has been a cornerstone of Kitchener's golf community for nearly a century, introducing generations of local players to the game and remaining a point of civic pride for the Region of Waterloo.
