Jay Peak Resort sits in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, about as far north as you can get in the Green Mountains before crossing into Quebec — and the golf course reflects that geography completely. The terrain is rugged and heavily forested, the seasons are short, and the mountain air stays cool even in midsummer. This is not manicured resort golf in the Sun Belt sense; it's golf rooted in a genuinely wild New England landscape, where the setting does most of the talking.
The course plays across rolling, wooded terrain characteristic of the northern Appalachian landscape, with elevation changes and tree-lined corridors that demand accuracy off the tee.
