President's Field

Saint Brelade sits on Jersey's southwest coast, where the island's longest beach curves beneath the parish church and the hills above hold some of its most sheltered, sun-warmed land. President's Field is the home course of La Moye Golf Club — one of the most celebrated links in the British Isles and a course that punches well above its island geography. Laid out across the headland above St Ouen's Bay, La Moye was founded in 1902 and has been shaped by the kind of heathland-meets-links terrain that makes it genuinely distinctive: gorse-lined fairways, exposed ridges, and sea views that stretch toward France on a clear day.

The course has hosted multiple European Tour events, including the Jersey Open, and has produced serious competitive golf for over a century. Its routing uses the natural contours of the headland to create holes that demand imagination and shot-shaping, particularly when the Channel winds arrive — and they do.

Saint Brelade's mild climate means golf is playable year-round, and the village itself offers one of Jersey's most picturesque settings, with good food, a working harbour, and easy access to the island's coastal paths.
