Ingersoll Golf and Country Club occupies a quiet corner of Oxford County, a stretch of southwestern Ontario farm country known more for its dairy heritage than its golf courses. The town of Ingersoll sits along the Thames River between London and Woodstock, and the surrounding landscape — gently rolling fields, hardwood treetops, open sky — shapes the character of a course that clearly belongs to its region rather than any manufactured resort aesthetic.
