Grange Castle Golf Course

Grange Castle sits on the western fringe of Dublin, in Clondalkin — one of the city's busiest suburban corridors — and operates as a public parkland course owned and managed by South Dublin County Council. It serves a densely populated catchment and functions as genuine everyday golf: accessible, affordable, and well-used by a wide cross-section of the community rather than a private membership.

The course occupies flat to gently rolling ground typical of the Dublin plain, with mature trees providing definition between holes and the Camac River adding both character and the occasional hazard. The layout rewards accuracy over raw power — the parkland setting means rough, tree lines, and water come into play frequently enough to keep mid-handicappers honest without overwhelming beginners.
