Few settings in Alpine golf match the raw drama of the Urslautal valley, where the Steinernes Meer massif — the "Stone Sea" — rises as an almost vertical limestone wall above the fairways. This is golf played at the foot of one of the Salzburg region's most striking mountain panoramas, and the course makes no attempt to compete with its surroundings; it simply lets the landscape do the talking.
