Bushfoot Golf Club

Bushfoot Golf Club sits on the north Antrim coast, one of the most dramatic stretches of coastline in the British Isles. The course occupies linksland along the River Bush estuary where it meets the Atlantic at Portballintrae, a small village just a mile or so from the Giant's Causeway. This corner of County Antrim is golf country in the oldest sense — raw, exposed, and shaped by wind off the water rather than by any designer's ambition.

The layout is a genuine links, which means conditions dictate far more than club selection alone. Firm ground, unpredictable bounces, and the ever-present breeze off the sea demand creativity and patience from visitors more accustomed to parkland courses. At par 70, the card is modest in length, but links golf has never really been about distance.
