Few golf courses in America carry quite the same weight of context as this one. Desert Winds sits on Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms — the largest Marine Corps base in the world — and the course is a working part of that community, built for and maintained by the men and women stationed here, along with their families and authorized guests.
