The course occupies the broad river flats where the Klondike meets the Yukon River, the same ground that drew 100,000 prospectors north during the 1898 Gold Rush. The setting is raw and genuinely remote — surrounding peaks, boreal forest, and the weathered streets of a town that still carries the bones of its boomtown past.
