The Ocean Club Golf Course sits on Paradise Island, just across the bridge from Nassau, on one of the most storied resort properties in the Caribbean. The course is part of the Atlantis resort complex — though the Ocean Club itself predates the Atlantis era, tracing its roots to the 1960s when Huntington Hartford transformed the island into a private playground for the international jet set. The golf course shares that legacy of exclusivity, laid out across terrain that keeps the Atlantic within reach for much of the round.
Tom Weiskopf redesigned the course, and his fingerprints are apparent in the strategic shaping and the way certain holes expose players to the ocean wind, which functions as a fifth club throughout the day. The turf plays firm and fast in the trade winds, and the combination of salt air, coral-based soil, and relentless sun creates conditions unlike anything on the mainland.
Paradise Island is a compact slice of real estate, and the course reflects that — routing imaginatively through the available land with ocean views rewarding good positioning rather than length alone.
