Yasmine Hammamet Golf Club sits within one of Tunisia's most ambitious resort developments — the Yasmine Hammamet complex, a purpose-built tourist zone that transformed this stretch of the Cap Bon peninsula's coastline into a destination of hotels, marinas, and leisure facilities from the 1990s onward. The course is a product of that resort era, designed to complement the surrounding holiday infrastructure and cater to the European visitors — particularly French, German, and Italian travelers — who make Hammamet one of the Mediterranean's most visited beach destinations.
The Cap Bon peninsula offers genuinely pleasant conditions for golf: a mild climate that extends the playable season well beyond what northern Europe allows, with the sea moderating temperatures on both sides of the headland. The landscape here is flatter than Tunisia's interior, and the vegetation leans toward palms, flowering shrubs, and the jasmine that gives Hammamet much of its romantic reputation and lends the course its name.
As a resort layout, the course prioritizes accessibility and enjoyment over stern examination. Visitors arriving from their hotels can expect a welcoming round that rewards the area's scenery and atmosphere as much as the golf itself.
