Grayhawk Golf Club - Raptor Course

Few desert courses in the American Southwest have built a reputation quite like Raptor. Designed by Tom Fazio and opened in 1995, Grayhawk's flagship track has become one of the most celebrated public-access courses in Arizona — consistently ranked among the best in the state and a perennial presence on national "top public courses" lists. It sits in North Scottsdale at the base of the McDowell Mountains, and Fazio used that terrain to create a layout that feels dramatic without resorting to gimmick: wide fairways bordered by desert scrub, bold bunkering, and greens that reward players who think their way around rather than simply swing hard.
