Hayston Golf Club sits in Kirkintilloch, a town on the northeastern edge of Glasgow's sprawl where the urban fabric gives way to the rolling Campsie Fells. This part of East Dunbartonshire has a long golfing tradition, and Hayston — founded in 1926 — is one of the more respected members' clubs in a region that takes its golf seriously.
