Designed by Graham Cooke and opened in 1992, the course unfolds across the slopes of Mont Owl's Head in the Eastern Townships, delivering one of the most dramatically scenic and strategically demanding rounds in the province. Cooke worked with the mountain's natural contours rather than against them, producing a layout where elevation changes are a constant factor — drives that look straightforward on a flat diagram become genuinely complex decisions when the fairway falls away beneath you or climbs toward a ridge-framed green.

The Eastern Townships (Cantons-de-l'Est) sit roughly 90 minutes southeast of Montreal, bordering Vermont, and the region carries a distinctive Anglo-French character shaped by generations of both cultures. The area around Lac Memphrémagog is cottage and ski country, and Owl's Head operates as part of a four-season resort.
