Trickle Creek Golf Resort sits on the slopes above Kimberley, a former silver-mining town in the East Kootenay region of southeastern British Columbia. Designed by Les Furber and opened in 1999, the course climbs and tumbles through the Rocky Mountain terrain with the kind of elevation changes that turn a straightforward par 4 into a genuine decision-making exercise. Furber, one of Canada's most prolific course architects, made full use of the natural topography — the layout rewards shot-shaping and course management far more than raw distance.
