Deerpark

Carlow Golf Club's Deerpark course carries one of the more storied names in Leinster golf. The club itself dates to 1899, making it one of the older established clubs in the southeast of Ireland, and the course has long served as the competitive heartbeat of County Carlow. It has hosted significant Leinster Branch events over the years and produced players who have represented the province and country at various levels.

The setting draws on the gentle, rolling farmland of the Barrow Valley, with the River Barrow and the Wicklow Mountains forming a backdrop that gives the course a distinctive sense of place without resorting to drama for drama's sake.
