Limerick Golf Club

Few Irish golf clubs carry a history as long as Limerick's. Founded in 1891, the club is one of the oldest in Munster, and its parkland layout at Ballyclough has developed a quiet but well-earned reputation among those who know the region's golf scene. The course was designed by Alister MacKenzie — the same architect behind Augusta National and Cypress Point — and while Limerick is a far more modest canvas than those celebrated venues, MacKenzie's eye for natural contours and strategic interest is visible throughout.
