Few golf settings in Scotland command attention quite like this one. Ballachulish sits at the narrows where Loch Leven meets Loch Linnhe in the western Highlands, in the shadow of the Glencoe mountains — one of the most dramatic landscapes in the British Isles. Dragon's Tooth takes its name from Sgorr Dhearg, the jagged quartzite peak of Beinn a' Bheithir that looms above the village, and the course plays out against that backdrop with the kind of scenery that routinely stops golfers mid-swing.
With a par of 66, this is a shorter layout by championship standards, almost certainly featuring a run of par 3s and short par 4s that reward precision over power.
