Few resort golf experiences in Central Florida carry the design pedigree that comes with having Jack Nicklaus's name on the door. The Nicklaus Course at Reunion Resort is 1 of 3 distinct 18-hole layouts on the property — alongside courses designed by Tom Watson and Arnold Palmer — making Reunion one of the more serious golf destinations in a region better known for theme parks than tee times. Nicklaus brought his characteristic emphasis on strategic shot-shaping and risk-reward decision-making to the design, rewarding players who commit to their lines and punishing those who don't.
Reunion sits just southwest of Orlando near Kissimmee, on terrain that Central Florida flattens out considerably — so expect the drama here to come from water, bunkering, and elevation changes engineered into the layout rather than naturally rolling land. The subtropical climate means lush, year-round playing conditions, though summer rounds come with the region's signature afternoon storms.
