Laguna National Golf & Country Club

Few courses in Southeast Asia carry the weight of Laguna National. The club's 2 layouts — the Masters Course and the Classic Course — were both designed by American architect Ron Fream, who shaped the land in the early 1990s into something genuinely ambitious for a city-state where real estate is among the most contested on earth. The Masters Course in particular developed a serious reputation, drawing comparison to resort-standard tracks in the region's more land-rich neighbors.

Laguna National built its profile on the strength of the European Tour's Singapore Open, which it hosted for multiple editions in the 2000s and 2010s, putting the club on the same map as Sentosa and bringing international fields through the gates of the Bedok corridor in the island's east. That tournament pedigree still shapes how the club presents itself — grooming standards are exacting, expectations high.
