Evercrest Golf Club and Resort sits on the western coast of Batangas province, where the terrain tumbles dramatically toward the South China Sea. Nasugbu is one of the Tagalog region's most scenic stretches of coastline — better known to most Filipinos as a beach escape than a golf destination — and Evercrest takes full advantage of the elevation changes and coastal views that the hills above the town provide. The drive south from Manila along the Cavite–Batangas corridor already sets the mood: you arrive somewhere that feels genuinely removed from the capital's sprawl.
The course is built across rolling, forested terrain with the kind of dramatic elevation shifts that make distance management as important as ball-striking. Several holes play along ridgelines with open views toward the sea, and the prevailing onshore breezes add a variable the scorecard cannot quantify. The layout rewards local knowledge — wind direction shifts through the day, and the transitions between shaded valley holes and exposed hilltop tees keep the round feeling varied.
As a resort property, Evercrest draws a mix of Manila-based golfers on weekend retreats and visitors combining a round with Nasugbu's beach hotels. The setting is the main event: lush tropical vegetation, clean air off the water, and a pace of play that rarely matches the rush of the city courses most of its guests left behind.
