Dejbjerg Golf Klub

Dejbjerg Golf Klub sits in the Ringkøbing-Skjern municipality of western Jutland, one of Denmark's most distinctly windswept landscapes. The course takes its name from the nearby village of Dejbjerg, a spot of genuine historical interest — the area is famous for the Dejbjerg wagons, elaborately decorated Iron Age cult wagons discovered in a local bog in the 19th century and now among the treasures of the National Museum in Copenhagen. Playing golf here means moving through terrain shaped by glacial retreat, heathland, and the proximity of the Skjern River valley, Denmark's most significant river system and a landscape that has been actively rewilded in recent decades.

Western Jutland's climate means wind is never an afterthought. Prevailing westerlies roll in off the North Sea with little to interrupt them, and a course that might look straightforward on paper can play very differently when that wind turns.
