Few golf settings in central Europe rival the panorama available from the heights above Lake Constance. Golfclub Bodensee-Weissensberg sits on the rolling hills of the Allgäu, just above the village of Weißensberg in Bavaria's far southwest corner, where Germany, Austria, and Switzerland converge within a short drive. On clear days — and there are many here in the warmer months — the Alps rise dramatically to the south and the glittering expanse of the Bodensee stretches below, making the scenery as much a feature of the round as any individual hole.
The course itself is a mature, well-regarded layout that plays across open, undulating terrain typical of the Allgäu foothills. The elevation changes and prevailing winds off the lake add genuine strategic interest, rewarding players who manage trajectory and position rather than simply chasing distance.
The club has long been considered one of the more desirable addresses in the Lake Constance region, attracting members and visitors from the German, Austrian, and Swiss communities that share this corner of the continent. It is the kind of place where the setting amplifies every good shot.
