Williams sits at nearly 7,000 feet on the Colorado Plateau, a high-desert town best known as the last Route 66 community before the Grand Canyon. The surrounding landscape is dominated by ponderosa pine forest, volcanic rock formations, and the kind of wide, open sky that makes you feel the altitude before you even take a swing.
