BRG Kings Island is one of Vietnam's most storied golf destinations, built on a peninsula that juts into Đồng Mô Lake roughly 40 kilometers west of central Hanoi. The resort actually encompasses 2 distinct courses — the Lakeside and the Island — and together they represent a landmark chapter in Vietnamese golf history. The complex was developed during the early boom years of the game in Vietnam and has long served as a benchmark property for the country's expanding resort golf circuit.
The Mountain View course occupies the higher, more undulating ground of the estate, where the terrain offers elevation changes uncommon in the flat Red River Delta lowlands. Fairways move through mature tree cover and across ridgelines that reward accurate positioning off the tee. The surrounding landscape — reservoir water visible from multiple vantage points, forested hills rolling toward the Ba Vì mountain range — gives the round a sense of scale that distinguishes it from the city's more manicured suburban layouts.
Sơn Tây itself sits at the edge of Hanoi's urban sprawl, close enough for a day trip yet genuinely removed from the capital's density. For visiting golfers, BRG Kings Island functions as a proper getaway — a place where the pace slows, the views earn their keep, and the setting does real work.
